Encavis AG: Strategic Expansion in Europe’s Renewables Landscape
Encavis AG, the Hamburg‑based independent power producer, has strategically broadened its renewable portfolio through the acquisition of the Bebensee wind farm, a 34 MW project located in the northeastern part of the city. This transaction continues the company’s partnership model with PNE, under which Encavis has already integrated additional assets. By adding wind capacity to its existing solar operations, Encavis reinforces its strategy to embed wind assets within its broader European renewable mix.
In parallel, the company secured an extensive financing package from UniCredit, enabling the purchase of a sizable solar portfolio in Italy. These moves underscore Encavis’ persistent commitment to expanding its generation assets across Europe while maintaining a balanced mix of wind and solar facilities.
