Mercedes‑Benz Group AG announced a strategic partnership with QNX and neueHCT to implement an advanced front‑view smart‑camera system on a global passenger‑vehicle platform. The collaboration will enter production in 2027 and will be rolled out in multiple markets, including China, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea.
The camera solution is based on Horizon Robotics’ Compute Platform Journey 6B and is powered by QNX OS for Safety 8.0.
